 I was born with a passion for the arts in 1977. From Denver, CO., I began taking my first art class when I was still in elementary school, on through to a BFA (with a concentration in drawing) from Colorado State University. Before leaving college I obtained a teacher license, but left the profession after one short year of teaching. The call of my art was too strong to resist, I decided that I needed to give myself completely to my passion and focus on my own work. I left for Italy in June 2004, and have been traveling around and painting ever since.
